On 5-7 September 2019, the Final Meeting & Steering Group Meeting 8 on the Erasmus+ ECOIMPACT project was held at the University of Helsinki (Finland).

The meeting began with a welcoming speech by Sergei Zilitinkevich, project coordinator, and Svyatoslav Tyuryakov, project manager, from the University of Helsinki. After that, the results of implementation of the project tasks were reported by representatives of partner institutions: Odessa State Environmental University, Kherson State Agrarian University, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Agricultural University – Plovdiv, Bulgaria, Roshydromet Advanced Training Institute, Russian State Hydrometeorological University and N.I. Lobachevsky State University of Nizhni Novgorod.

During the meetings, the required steps to finalize the project, recommendations for compiling the final report and the audit requirements were discussed. In addition, Marek Frankowicz, an external expert from the Jagiellonian University (Poland), reported on a possible collaboration with the Erasmus+ SUSDEV project team (http://www.susdev.confer.uj.edu.pl/) in the post-project period.
