On 18 February – 4 March 2018, O.G. Shevchenko, Associate Professor of the Department of Meteorology and Climatology and M.O. Matviienko, Master student, participated in the workshop on Enviro-HIRLAM at the Atmospheric and Earth System Research Institute (INAR) of the University of Helsinki (Finland). This event was held within the framework of the ECOIMPACT project.
The purpose of this workshop was to develop the Enviro-HIRLAM (Environment High Resolution Limited Area Model), which can be used to solve a variety of meteorological and environmental problems (for example, operational weather forecasting, modeling of the air pollution with gaseous and aerosol impurities, etc.).
