On 30 November 2016, the participants and guests of the conference were greeted by Viktor Pelykh, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
Post-graduate, Master and undergraduate students of the Agronomical and Biotechnology Faculties made reports at the plenary session and workshops.
The following reports were acknowledged as the best: ‘Environmental problems of using a polymeric container for the food industry. Prospects and features of polymer materials affecting their production’ by A.Morgun, the 2nd year student of the Agronomic Faculty (supervisor – G.V. Karashchuk, Associate Professor), ‘Stevia as a natural substitute for sugar in the production of fermented milk products’ by K. Karpenko, the 2nd year student of the Biotechnology Faculty (supervisor – S.V. Ushakova, assistant) and ‘Assortment and features of using spices in preserving vegetables’ by D.R. Fenko, the 4th year student of Agronomy Faculty (supervisor – G.V. Karashchuk, Associate Professor).
All participants received certificates of the conference, and the students with the best reports were awarded prizes.
In addition, representatives of the Biology and Technology Faculty familiarized the conference participants with the achievements in the framework of implementation of the joint international project Erasmus + ECOIMPACT by KSAU team.
