The Workshop 2 “Development of educational materials: Content” on the ECOIMPACT project took place at University of Central Europe in Skalica, Slovak Republic, on 24 – 27 January 2017.
The Workshop was attended by representatives of the University of Helsinki (Finland), Jagiellonian University (Krakow, Poland), Kherson State Agrarian University, TG Shevchenko National University Kiev., Odessa State Environmental University, Russian State Hydrometeorological University, Training Institute of Roshydromet and the Nizhny Novgorod State University. The Workshop aimed to harmonize the materials of short-term “sectoral” courses prepared by five groups of developers with the project’s underpinning concepts (PLE, IoT), and with the requirements of Bologna Process.
Steering Group Meeting 2, organized on 27 January 2017, was dedicated mainly to equipment purchase and implementation of ECOIMPACT courses. Sergej Zilitinkevich welcomed the ECOIMPACT SGM2 participants and opened the meeting with the presentation “ECOIMPACT Today”, where he summarised the overall progress to date, the encountered difficulties and positive features, the emerged new collaborations (WMO ETR and PEEX). He suggested to include ECOIMPACT under the umbrella of Pan-Eurasian Experiment (PEEX).
